Frames, styles and your own rules
The frame shelves fill with real-looking instants, film, paper and cameras, the collage gets a style of its own, and you can teach Layup how to arrange.
New
Your own arrangements. Build a named arrangement from a deck of rules, such as shooting order or keeping look-alikes apart, see each rule shown on real photos, and the Layup button follows it.
A full frame collection. Instant prints with cream, noir and colour edges, punched film strips, torn and deckled paper and hand-drawn ink borders fill every shelf.
Instant frames
Camera frames. Real camera backs and drawn cameras whose screen holds your photo, with a frame bar to swap, place and replace it and a second tap to move the photo inside.
Camera frames
Collage style. Set spacing, inset, opacity, corner radius and border for the whole collage from one panel.
Improved
A freer canvas. The collage and its frames can reach past the canvas, Adjust lets you drag the gaps between frames, and guides snap a drag to edges, centres and neighbours.
Saved as you go. Your work is saved while you edit, so a crash no longer loses it, and a duplicated slide keeps everything on it.
Fixed
Smoother pinch and turn without jumps, taps in overlapping frames pick the one on top, and smaller fixes to the editor.
Layers, history and a home
A slide becomes a stack of layers you can add, draw on and rearrange, every edit is kept, and Layup gets its own website.
New
Layers on a slide. The New Layer sheet adds photos, video clips, shapes, stickers and small date, time, place and note cards on top of your collage.
Drawing. Draw on a slide with the familiar pen, marker, eraser, ruler and full colour wheel, on a screen of its own.
Frames and grids. Pick a frame from the Instant, Film, Paper, Camera and Digital shelves and fill its windows with photos, or place a second grid that holds photos of its own.
Project history. Every edit survives quitting the app: open the full history, jump back to any moment, name the ones you want to find again, and see what it costs in Settings, Storage.
layup.id and Bahasa Indonesia. Layup has its own website in English, Russian and Indonesian, and the app now speaks Indonesian too.

Improved
The collage is a layer. Move, resize, turn and lock it, send it behind other layers or bring it forward, and twist any frame or photo with two fingers.
A quicker start. The create button opens your last template or asks for a ratio, and picked photos land on the canvas one by one as they load.
Slides, text and folders
The editor grows up: every slide on one board, text on top of your photos, and real tools for each frame.
New
The slide board. See all your slides side by side, pinch to zoom and pan with one finger, then reorder, insert or duplicate slides and carry a photo or a whole frame onto another slide.
Text layers. Add text from the New Layer sheet, type into it, set its size, spacing, alignment and colour, and move, align, fade, duplicate, lock or delete it, with every layer listed in Layers.

Frame tools. A selected frame gets Replace, Position, Style and Edit: nudge and align it precisely, round its corners, add a shadow, and give its photo filters and adjustments.
Crop. Reframe a photo inside its frame with a pinch and a pan, or open Crop to set its aspect and rotation, seeing the whole photo while you work.
Folders. Sort your projects into folders, select several at once, and change how the library is sorted and laid out.
Projects and folders
Profiles. Open anyone's profile with their collages and templates, browse who follows them, and manage your linked accounts, sessions and notifications in a redesigned Settings.
Improved
A smoother editor. A project's preview flies straight onto the canvas when you open it, a turned frame snaps to straight, and a photo you carry lifts and floats under your finger.
The first Layup
Layup comes to life: pick your photos, press one button, and they arrange themselves into a collage you can edit, save and share.
New
The Layup button. Fill a collage with your photos and press Layup: the same kind of shot never sits twice side by side, nobody turns their back on a neighbour, and colours stay in harmony, with a screen that explains each rule.

The editor. Fill any frame from your library with a photo or a trimmed clip that loops, drag a photo onto another frame, add carousel slides, and step back and forward with undo and redo.
Free frames. Select a frame to move it, resize and turn it by its handles, or lock it, with a small toolbar right above it.
Templates. Browse a catalogue of 120 templates in collections, filter by format, open one to see similar designs, and find your recently used ones on top.

Backgrounds and sizes. Choose a colour, gradient or texture, or mix your own, and pick the collage's shape from presets or a custom ratio.
Export. Save every slide as a picture, or a slide with video as an MP4 with sound, straight to Photos or any app.
Projects and accounts. Your collages are saved to reopen later, you can sign in with Apple, Google or X, and Settings switches language and light or dark look on the spot.
